

Note that the unique item "Terror's End" is not required to open the Uber Tristram portal, but it can be a useful weapon for some character builds. To use the Key of Terror in Diablo 2 Resurrected, you must first obtain it by defeating Nihlathak in the Halls of Vaught in Act 5. Once the player has obtained all three keys (Key of Terror, Key of Hate, and Key of Destruction), they can combine them in the Horadric Cube to create the Hellfire Torch, a powerful class-specific charm, and gain access to the Uber Tristram portal. Upon killing him, he will drop the Key of Terror. After completing this quest, the player can enter the Halls of Vaught, where they will find Nihlathak.
